Metro hosts a 3-day conference every year that brings store managers from across Ontario and Quebec to kick off the new fiscal year. This year, they wanted something even BIGGER to foster culture-building opportunities and celebrate the achievements of store managers.

A Unique Way of Approaching The Problem

Since 2014, Proof Experiences has delivered a 360-degree immersive conference solution that helped Metro deliver its annual three-day live and virtually for 450+.
From ski hill resorts to winery retreats, attendees were taken off-site and provided a turnkey event solution. Whether it was innovative theming and impactful speakers or memorable staging and complete audio-visual support, our team of conference & events experts had the skills Metro needed to celebrate achievements and reflect on their business goals for the next fiscal.

The Proof Touch

What’s a celebration without some fun? Over the past few years, Proof Experiences has created and executed several amazing Store Manager Conferences for Metro. Some of the highlights include the overnight transformation of an empty winery field into an unforgettable gala celebration under the stars. Some other highlights included an awards gala at the Canadian Museum of History in Ottawa hosted by Ben Mulroney, featuring Jim Cuddy’s band, and creating two original interactive learning sessions featuring a murder mystery concept.
In 2022, the conference included a Western-themed Welcome Event, a surprise guest speaker, a final gala featuring a duelling electric violinist and cellist performance, and a mentalist to close the celebrations.

Proof Experiences conducts yearly post-event surveys to ensure attendees feel connected to the various elements of the event including venue, theme, content, and culture building experiences. Year over year, feedback consistently indicates a strong satisfaction and engagement rate for all elements.
